TVCenter 6.3 (BETA) is a fully featured TV viewing and PVR application for Windows XP, Vista and Win7.
Some features of older TVC versions (PMC 3.x, TVC 4.x, TVC5.x) are discontinued in version 6
- Direct to DVD recording
- Direct capture to various formats (offline transcoding instead)
- tvtv EPG support
The following hardwares have been tested successfully with this version of TVC:
- PCTV Sat USB (400e)
- PCTV 400i (no 64bit support)
- PCTV Sat Pro USB (450e)
- PCTV Sat Pro PCI (450i)
- PCTV HDTV Sat Pro USB (452e)
- PCTV Dual Sat PCI (4000i)
Notes:
- This is a BETA version! Installation and/or use is at your own sole risk. NO support by PCTV Systems.
- This software is intended ONLY for use with the PCTV products listed above and cannot be used with any other products. We strongly recommend to used this version of the software only with the listed hardware platforms. PCTV Systems will post an updated list of supported hardwares whenever a new version of TVC is successfully tested with these devices. Please check the Support section for updates.
- This packages does not come with new drivers. Please check the beta driver section. If there are no new driver listed for your device then we don't have a newer one.
Installation:
- Uninstall any previous installation of your previous Pinnacle TVCenter Pro. Reboot your PC if the uninstall wizard asks you to do so.
- After the reboot a windows message box could came up and asking to install the driver for you device again. You can ignore this box. The installation of TVC 6.3.0-beta will take care about it
- Click the download link below and choose “save as” to download the update to e.g. your desktop.
- Once the download is completed, un-zip the file and double click on Launcher.exe.
- Follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
- When the wizard asks you for a serial number, please enter the serial number that has come with your product, printed on a label on the sleeve of the original TVCenter Pro installation disk. If you don't have a valid serial number anymore then you run the application in trial mode.
- Please reboot your PC if the install wizard asks you to do so.
