Braunschweig, November 25th 2010: DVB-T2 or Freeview-HD is the second generation of digital TV-broadcasting and will open new possibilities for digital TV in the coming years. In the UK the Freeview-HD standard is already being used (Spring 2010). PCTV Systems, the TV innovator from Braunschweig/Germany, now introduces the world’s first DVB-T2/Freeview-HD stick which is now available in the UK retail/e-retail stores.
The compact TV-stick turns any PC or notebook into a DVB-T2/Freeview-HD-receiver and comes with TVCenter6-Software which is a powerful Freeview PVR with TimeShift functionality and various other recording controls. In addition, the included DistanTV software allows Standard Definition (SD) TV to be streamed to an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or other mobile devices while the user is on the go.
PCTV nanoStick T2 also supports SDTV reception (DVB-T/Freeview) and comes with a USB extension-cable, a remote control and the latest TVCenter 6.4 software. NanoStick T2 is available now for ₤89.
